Chris has worked in performance management roles for the past 14 years. He started out at North East Lincolnshire Council where he was responsible for monitoring the performance of service contractors. He then moved on to Lincolnshire Police Authority in 2000 working as a Best Value Officer.
In 2003 Chris made a move into the private sector where he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in their National Criminal Justice Team working on various police service reviews across the country, including the Home Office led project to evaluate the national taser stun gun pilots. In 2004 Chris then moved on to another private sector firm, RSM Robson Rhodes to work in their Public Sector Consultancy team where he worked on local authority, police and fire related projects.
In October 2005 Chris took up a post at Sport England East Midlands as the Invest to Save Project Coordinator (post hosted by the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership). Chris was responsible for pilot testing and evaluating four improvement tools and techniques in four East Midlands county sports partnerships (Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire). These included the Towards an Excellent Service self-assessment framework, Social Network Analysis, Effective Intelligence and the TEN performance management system.
Following the successful completion of this project, Chris took up the permanent position with the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership, becoming the Senior Information Officer and later the Performance and Information Manager.
Chris took on the role of Deputy Chief Executive in October 2011.
Outside of work Chris’s main sport is squash - he plays team and league squash for the Lindum Squash Club based in Lincoln. |
