Marc graduated from Aberystwyth University in July 2009 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Science.
After leaving University, Marc went on to work for NHS Lincolnshire in Lincoln County Hospital's Cardiology Department. Whilst working for the NHS, Marc also volunteered part time for several months at Lincolnshire Sports Partnership before becoming Projects Officer in September 2009 and later Communications Officer in November 2009.
Whilst in his role as Communications Officer, Marc developed and implemented a new Communications Strategy across the company as well as being responsible for the company website and the management of events.
Marc started his new role as Events Officer in August 2010 to focus on ensuring the Partnership takes a consistent approach to delivering quality events. Marc manages the core Events Programme including the Lincolnshire Sports Awards and the Sports Zone at the Lincolnshire Show as well as providing planning support for all other events that the Partnership are involved in.
Outside of work, Marc enjoys playing many sports including football and golf, as well as following the trials and tribulations of Newcastle United FC. |
