Lucy graduated in 2008 from the University of Derby with a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Sports Studies.
After graduating, Lucy joined North Lincolnshire Council as an Inclusive Fitness Activator which involved working with disabled members of the community, providing knowledge and broadening sport and physical activity opportunities across North Lincolnshire.
In May 2009, Lucy joined the Partnership working on Lincolnshire Sports Partnership’s Children and Young People programmes. This role the management and coordination of the Sportivate programme, the deployment and finance around the Community Coach work, joint lead with the NGB Project Officer on the LEAP programme across the county and to be the advocate for C&YP to represent the Partnership at Local and Regional C&YP meetings.
Outside of work Lucy enjoys many sports, having played county netball from a young age and has since taken up Squash and Golf. |
