Marcus Coleman took up the post of Assistant Chief Executive at Lincolnshire County Council in April 2006. He has extensive commercial experience gained in previous roles in management consulting, civil engineering and digital television sectors. Marcus is the Council’s lead officer for partnership working, communications, community engagement and community cohesion with a particular focus on leading the Council’s support for international migrant workers.
Over the past year Marcus has facilitated a process to develop a new long term vision for Lincolnshire. This has involved a creative public consultation exercise, an extensive stakeholder engagement programme and has created a high degree of consensus around the future outlook and challenges facing the county. He has recently taken a lead role overseeing the authority’s drive to bring a world class customer service to Lincolnshire.
Marcus is a keen sportsman, he enjoys golf and has represented England schoolboys and under 21’s on the hockey field. |
