Exercise Referral

Funded by NHS Lincolnshire and the Health and Wellbeing Fund, exercise referral programmes have grown in size over the past 3 years, with almost 3000 people taking up the opportunity last year.

Every district in Lincolnshire offers exercise on referral. If you have a medical condition that would benefit from exercise, you may be able to get an exercise referral prescription from your GP or Health Professional. You may be able to reduce medication, increase your fitness level, feel and look better after completing the 12 week course.

The programme will give you guidance and support into becoming more active. You will be eligible for subsidized rates at your leisure centre, as well as lots of information on how to improve your health.
