Community Sport and Physical Activity Networks (CSPAN's) are built around existing successful partnership’s or alliances. These could be sports organisations or local companies with an interest in sport. CSPAN's represents a shared vision to improve sport in the local community for everyone.
The aims of a CSPAN are:
- To increase numbers of people taking part in sport and active recreation by 1% year on year
- To widen access to opportunities for sport and active recreation
- To bring together and align partner’s existing priorities and targets into one inclusive local action plan for sport and active recreation within the CSN area
Each of the seven districts of Lincolnshire has it's own CSPAN, concentrated on the development of sport in their area.
