Lincolnshire Clay Pigeon shooter David Payne has returned from the Fitasc World Championships in Italy with a silver medal.
The 72 year old from Kirkby on Bain overcame stifling temperatures to finish second in the Super Veterans class, he said: "The weather was so hot, it forced some competitors to pull out of the competition."
