Lincolnshire Sports Partnership is pleased to announce that for the first time the 'Sports Zone' will be featuring at the RAF Waddington International Air Show 4th-5th July 2009.
Located at the entrance to the show, and outside 'Hanger 5' (Youth Hanger) the Sports Zone promises to be a popular attraction.
The Air Show will experience a different look Sports Zone to that which featured at the Lincolnshire Show with activities focused on the Over 45’s. Activities will include Salsa, Tai Chi, Boxercise, Chair Pilates, Fitness Step, Hula Hula & Zumba.
Jaguars Wheelchair Basketball Club will also be providing visitors with the opportunity to try Wheelchair Basketball.
Lincoln RFC will be offering Rugby Skills Training, and England Squash's Mini Squash Factory will also be on site.
Special guests include Tanya Bailey: World top 20 – Highest Ranking World Number 4 (Former British National Champion, and 2x Commonwealth Medalist) and Matt Byrne: GB Wheelchair Basketball Team and 2 x Paralympian.
The Sports Zone will be open 8am-6pm on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2009.
