A new National network of competition managers is now in force, covering all Schools Sports Partnerships.
Tasked with co-coordinating high quality inter-school competitions for all young people who have the desire to compete, two hundred and forty teams of Competition Managers & Senior Competition Managers are now in post.
Senior Competition Managers will work on a strategic level across the whole county to engage National Governing Bodies, School Sports Partnership’s, School Sports Associations and County Sports Partnerships to produce a county plan for competition. This plan will be completed in conjunction with all the partners across the county who are involved in the delivery of schools competitions.
Competition Manager's will assist in the co-ordination of 'Step into Sports' students and community leaders in the delivery of high quality competition.
Lincolnshire’s Team:
Tom Mapp joined the Partnership on the 28th April 2008 as Senior Competition Manager. Previously a RFU Development Officer for Greater Manchester, Tom will now work across the Cherry Willingham School Sports Partnership & the City of Lincoln Community College, as well as manage a team of three Competition Managers.
Former Community Volleyball Coach Naz Sutton takes up post as Competition Manager on the 12th May 2008. Naz will be working across South East Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership & Boston School Sports Partnership.
Shane Ward previously a NGB Officer for the County Sports Partnership also takes up post on the 12th May - Shane will be working across Lincolnshire Central School Sports Partnership & South West Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership.
Finally Paula Hill a former Netball Development Coach joins the team on the 30th June - Paula will be working across Lincs North East School Sports Partnership & Skegness School Sports Partnership.
